Assists Purchasing Manager as needed with all procurement functions

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Generate Purchase Orders
    • Purchase materials and supplies from vendors as directed.
    •  Maintain adequate supply levels for general materials
  • Request and review supplier quotes for price and delivery
  • Research and develop sources of supply for all commodities
  • Expedite Purchase Orders to meet or improve delivery requirements
  • Record-keeping
    • Maintain Purchase Order files
  • Receiving; perform receiving transactions in Sage 100ERP

Other Miscellaneous Duties

Update and maintain vendor contact information

Assist in maintaining the company Safety Program

Training/Education Requirements:

Associate Degree in business related field

Proficiency in Word, Excel

Adaptable to Manufacturing software Sage 100 ERP


Two Years of Purchasing related experience
